The Ywangan production area is located in the high mountain region of Southern Shan State in eastern Myanmar, at an altitude of 1,300 meters.
This is a pristine land where agriculture has been practiced year-round with zero heavy industrial pollution, and its natural conditions for non-toxic cultivation are a unique feature of this production area.
Since 2014, the Waan coffee-producing region has been working with Win Rock International for guidance and support, resulting in a year-on-year improvement in coffee quality. It is now one of the core specialty coffee-producing regions in Myanmar.
Coffee from the Ywangan region of Myanmar is produced in an area where many women have long taken on the role of field management, leading with meticulousness and resilience.
