Sailing with Nostalgia: Sharing the Aroma of Myanmar Coffee with the World
Brave Beginning: Planting the Seeds of Longing
With longing for her hometown in Myanmar and memories of the coffee trees in her childhood backyard, owner Cindy officially began importing the first batch of pure green coffee beans from Myanmar into Taiwan, embarking on an adventure to "bridge the coffee gap".
Taking Root: A Promise from Origin to Cup
The first physical flagship store of Thanaka Coffee opened in Longgang, Taoyuan. We built an integrated end-to-end model—from direct origin sourcing to local roasting and promotion—allowing the stories of the land to diffuse across the city.
Meaningful Connections: A Dialogue of Technical Expertise
Collaborating with a team of professional instructors from Taiwan, we traveled across the sea to Myanmar to engage in technical dialogues with local farmers, conduct in-depth training at the production site, and fulfill our brand mission of encouraging young people to return to their hometowns.
Professional Recognition: Documenting Terroir on the Global Stage
We launched a large-scale estate cultivation program and partnered with leading coffee brands for a nationwide cupping tour. Earning international awards and acclaim, we officially established our position as "Myanmar Specialty Coffee Experts."
Sailing to the World: The New Frontier of Asian Coffee
Expanding into major international coffee expos, Thanaka looks forward to helping Myanmar's origins take center stage globally, letting this pure, captivating aroma be celebrated around the world.
